Originally shown in 2009 as part of the BBC3 'Adult Season', this documentary follows three people with autism at pivotal moments on the rocky road to being accepted as an adult. 23-year-old Oli has high-functioning autism and is finding it tough to get a job with a condition that makes it hard to communicate or deal with pressure. Thomas has autism spectrum disorder and is approaching 16, an age where he demands more independence from his family. Alex, 24, is looking for love, but has Asperger syndrome, so communicating and socializing are difficult.
